Income Tax Clinic

The 2022 Income Tax Clinic is not open yet. Please check back for updates as to when we will be starting registrations. 

In order to use the tax clinic you must have all of your slips, prior to arrival. We can not print off or look up items for you. Please do not call to make an appointment until you have everything you need to file.

 

The Brantford Food Bank offers an Income Tax Clinic. The Income Tax Clinic is designed to assist low income households. Each year, free Income Tax Clinics for qualified persons are offered by Millards Chartered Accountants and Community Resource Service.

Joshua Laporte, CA of Millards is the Chairperson of the Income Tax Clinics. This is the 48th year for this voluntary community service.

The Free Income Tax Clinics are held in March by appointment only at Community Resource Service located at 1100 Clarence Street South in Brantford.

Qualification Guidelines

Total Income per Household Unit for taxpayers with:

  • 1 person – $35,000
  • 2 persons – $45,000
  • 3 persons – $47,500
  • 4 persons – $50,000
  • 5 persons – $52,500
  • + 5 persons – $52,500 plus $2,500 for each additional person
