The Fresh Helpings program is designed to increase the amount of fresh, healthy food options available to our clients and the Community Food Share Network, through education, awareness building, and procurement efforts. We are fortunate enough to work with local farmers, grocers, and community gardens to receive and distribute fresh food, and we encourage donations of perishables to our food bank.
Eating healthy is proven to have a long lasting effect on one’s health and well-being. We aim to provide these options to those in need of our food bank and other food assistance programs within our community.
