Hours of Operation
The Brantford Food Bank is open to serve those who need an emergency food kit every Monday through Friday (excluding statutory holidays).
Food Bank will serve clients by appointment only. Please call 519-751-4357 ext. 1 to make an appointment.
- Appointment line is open Monday – Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- Your call will be answered by one of our Intake Volunteers.
- If the line is busy – you will be able to leave us a voice message.
- Our messages will be checked each day, Monday – Friday at 10:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.
- Someone will get back to you as soon as possible.
Tuesday – Friday: 9:00 a.m. – 11:45 a.m., 1:00 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.

What to Bring
- Acceptable form of identification for yourself.*
- Acceptable form of identification for each member in your household who requires food.*
- Your own shopping bags/boxes to take home your groceries. The Brantford Food Bank is now green; we do not give out boxes or bags.

- Permanent Resident Card
- Old Age Security Card
- Social Insurance Card
- Canadian Armed Forces Certificate
- OW/ODSP Statement or Drug/Dental Card (current month only; family members must be listed)
- Jail Release papers (acceptable for 2 months only)
*ID must be valid and original. No expired identification or photocopies will be accepted.
