Ontario Labour Market Conference 2016

Ontario is facing an unprecedented skills shortage that will impact those seeking employment, young people entering the job market, new residents and everyone wishing to cultivate a meaningful and rewarding career. Job opportunities will span a broad array of occupations from those in the trades to professional and managerial occupations. This conference brings together industry leaders to speak specifically to the labour market outlook in their sectors.
Presentations will address job opportunities in technology; the environment; tourism; and manufacturing. The morning will feature a panel discussion with leaders from government and the public sector. In the afternoon, we will feature a group of human resources professionals who will explore the changing face of recruitment as the skills shortage becomes more pronounced.
