Hunger Doesn’t Take a Holiday

As a kid, summer time is great. School is over, no more homework, running around with friends and soaking in all the joys that comes with summer.

However, for many kids summer also means going hungry. Without regular school meal programs, many children are at risk of going hungry.

As people go on holidays, go to the beach, host BBQs and relax after the winter months, the food bank is often the last thing on their minds.

Donations, both food and monetary, drop significantyly as we experience our own summer drought. Unfortunately, the number of clients we help does not decrease and 35% of clients using our services are children.

We would like to ensure that every kid gets to enjoy their summer by making sure they have food when they go home after a day of play.

Help us make this possible by donating today!
