On November 10th, the Brantford Food Bank hosted an open house for their Christmas Basket program. At the launch attendees had the opportunity to see all the hard work that had already been started to ensure that no child goes without a toy this Christmas. Guests heard from Cindy Oliver, the Food Bank Manager and Christmas Basket Co-ordinator, about how much this program depends on the support of the community. Last year the program helped over 1,900 registered families and had over 4,000 volunteer hours. In the spirit of the holiday season and in the spirit of giving, make an impact in your community by supporting the Brantford Food Bank and their Christmas Basket program. A little can go a long way and together we can make a difference.
