We know how hard fundraising can be so each year when the Brant United Way announces their annual fundraising goal the staff of Community Resouce Service come together to do their part. During the months of October and November staff members chip in various entry fees to participate in a number of office events to raise money. This year’s calendar included pumpkin carving, 2 bake sales, dress down Fridays, bi-weekly Tim Hortons coffee days, an ice cream social, a mystery gift auction and candy grams. There are some prizes awarded and bragging rights are always on the line, but it’s mostly about raising money to support an agency that gives so much to our community. This year we aimed for a whopping $1,800 goal and when we set a goal… we aim to make it happen. Our staff believe in giving back and this is just one of the many ways we do.
We’d like to send a big thank you to Tim Horton’s for helping support our coffee days fundraiser!
